NEW 2027 ITINERARY
8 Days of Exclusive Slow Travel in Sardinia
MAX 8 GUESTS
8 DAYS
In this 8-day journey, you’ll discover Sardinia travelling with a small group, at an unhurried pace, going beyond the usual tourist routes and experiencing a more local, authentic side of the island.
I’ll be there to welcome you, guide you and share the Sardinia I love with you.
But first, a small note for you
When I first started thinking about this journey, I realised I had been planning it for years without even knowing it.
Places I have known since I was a child, people I have met along the way, meals I still remember, and new discoveries I keep making every time I go back to Sardinia.
For eight days, I’ll personally accompany a small group through some of the places I love most: colourful villages, family-run producers, ancient traditions, beautiful landscapes and experiences that you simply wouldn’t find by following the usual tourist route.
And because food and wine are such a big part of my life, they naturally have a big place in this journey too. But this is not only about what we eat or drink. It’s about the people we meet, the stories they have to tell, and the little moments that make a place feel real.
Sardinia is the kind of island that you understand a little more every time you return. There is always another village, another table, another story waiting around the corner.
I’ve spent years getting to know this island, and I’m still discovering it myself.
I’d love to share some of it with you.
-Manu

Day 1
Coastal roads and medieval villages
From Alghero, where Italian and Catalan influences have shaped a unique identity, follow one of Italy’s most spectacular coastal roads to the colorful town of Bosa, set along the Temo River.
Stroll through medieval streets, discover local traditions and traces of the past, then get your first taste of Sardinia with a tasting of fragrant Malvasia wine.
Continue inland toward Santu Lussurgiu, where the landscapes and traditions of a quieter, more traditional Sardinia begin to unfold.
Day 2
Sinis Peninsula: between ancient history and natural landscapes
Arrive at the Sinis Peninsula, where the history of ancient civilizations meets the rural character of the region, surrounded by a distinctive lagoon teeming with life.
Explore archaeological treasures, discover the rich ecosystem of the Cabras lagoons and taste one of Sardinia’s most celebrated delicacies: bottarga, cured fish roe.
The day continues with a traditional culinary experience inspired by age-old customs passed down through generations.
Day 3
Barbagia: the ancient heart of Sardinia
Leave the coast behind and head into Barbagia, the mountainous heart of the island, where traditions run deep and villages tell their stories through murals, masks, craftsmanship and pastoral culture.
Discover the world of Cannonau wine and taste some of the dishes that best represent the spirit of Sardinia.
This day is dedicated to the identity, history and extraordinary hospitality of central Sardinia.
Day 4
Slow life, rural traditions and Sardinian hospitality
Travel farther away from the busiest and most crowded routes and immerse yourself in the rural side of Sardinia.
Spend time with local residents, discover how traditional cheeses are made, cook together using seasonal ingredients and wild herbs, and learn about the simple rituals that have shaped island life for generations.
Connect with local traditions and discover the beauty of genuine Sardinian hospitality.
Day 5
Alghero & the Coral Coast
Return to Alghero to explore a city where different cultures have come together for centuries, creating a unique blend of influences.
Discover its Catalan heritage, wander through the atmospheric streets of the historic center and learn about the ancient coral-working tradition that has made this stretch of coastline famous. Then enjoy some free time to explore the city at your own pace.
In the afternoon, dive into a wine-focused experience before sitting down to a memorable dinner featuring fresh local seafood.
Day 6
Castelsardo and Northern Sardinia
Today, visit Castelsardo, one of Sardinia’s most beautiful medieval villages, dramatically perched above the sea.
Discover centuries-old artisan traditions, explore its distinctive atmosphere and experience the flavors of northern Sardinia through an unforgettable culinary experience.
Day 7
Wild Sardinia: the Asinara National Park
Nature takes center stage today as you explore one of the most extraordinary and unspoiled corners of Sardinia, where crystal-clear waters, wild landscapes and centuries of history exist side by side.
Take a day to slow down, reconnect with nature and experience the quiet beauty of Asinara National Park.
Day 8
Goodbye Sardinia!
Bring the journey to a close with a moment to look back on and share some of the most memorable moments of the past eight days.
Take home the landscapes, stories and people that made this journey through Sardinia truly special and unforgettable.
A Few Things to Know Before You Join Us
This exclusive journey is designed for curious, independent travellers who want to experience Sardinia as we know and love it, at a slower pace, through its food, people, landscapes and everyday life.
We want you to have a wonderful time, so here are a few things worth knowing before you book.
-
This journey is designed with adults in mind, from the pace of the itinerary to the nature of the experiences we share along the way. It’s a chance to slow down, enjoy good food and conversation, and experience Sardinia in a relaxed and authentic way.

This journey takes you beyond the more familiar tourist routes, into the rural villages, landscapes and local communities that give Sardinia its unique character.
Expect a slower pace, beautiful countryside, winding roads and places full of charm and personality, with experiences that feel genuinely connected to the island and its people.
If you’re looking for a more local, authentic and unhurried way to discover Sardinia, this is for you.
-
Food is an important part of this journey, and many of the experiences are rooted in traditional Sardinian cooking. We encourage you to come with an open mind and an appetite for discovering local flavours.
If you have food allergies, intolerances or other dietary requirements, please get in touch with us before booking. We’ll be happy to talk through the options with you and make sure the journey is a good fit. Because some experiences are hosted by local families and producers and rely on traditional recipes, guests following a strict vegan or gluten-free diet may find that some experiences are not suitable.

The itinerary you see here gives you an idea of the journey, but it isn’t set in stone. The overall experience, route and character of the trip will remain consistent, while some locations, activities or timings may change depending on seasonality, local conditions and availability.
As we continue working with our local partners and fine-tuning each experience, we may make small adjustments to ensure everything works beautifully for your dates. The journey you see here is a true reflection of what we’re creating ,the final details may simply evolve along the way.
This is not a rigid schedule to follow from one hour to the next. It’s a thoughtfully crafted journey designed to leave room for discovery, local life and the unexpected. Our priority is to create the most meaningful and authentic experience possible, and sometimes that means following the rhythm of the island rather than the clock.
Your final, confirmed itinerary will be shared with you approximately 30 days before the start of your journey, once all experiences, local partners and arrangements have been finalised.
-
You don’t need to come with a group to join us. Come on your own, as a couple, or with friends: our small-group journeys are designed to bring together curious travellers who may be meeting for the first time.
By the end of the journey, you’ll have shared meals, experiences and plenty of stories with a small group of people who chose Sardinia for the same reason you did.
-
We can help with that too. We work with a trusted local tour operator who can assist with the logistics of reaching Sardinia, including booking domestic flights where needed.
If you’d like support arranging your flights or simply want to understand the best way to get here, just get in touch with us before booking. We’ll be happy to help make the journey to Sardinia as easy as possible.

Get to Know Your Host
Hi, I’m Manu
Ciao, I'm Manu, a Tour Leader, food and wine lover, and someone who has spent the last 12 years turning my curiosity about Italy into a job I genuinely love.
Over the past 12 years, I’ve created and hosted more than 1,500 tours and bespoke experiences across Italy, welcoming well over 10,000 guests along the way. My work has introduced me to some wonderful places and, perhaps even more importantly, to a lot of wonderful people: chefs, winemakers, artisans, producers and small family-run businesses that have become part of my professional life.
And then there is Sardinia.
Sardinia has always been part of my story. I was born and raised in Rome, but my roots are deeply connected to the island on both sides of my family. I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl, spending time with relatives, eating at the same tables, getting to know places slowly and, over the years, discovering new ones. Even after all this time, I still find myself coming back and thinking: How did I not know about this place before?
I’m based in Rome, where I also host food tours, but Sardinia is different. It’s not simply a destination I know well, it’s a place I feel connected to.
That’s why I wanted to create this journey: to share the Sardinia I know, through the people I’ve met, the food I love, the places I return to and the stories I’ve collected along the way.
I’ll show you Sardinia the way I see it and I hope you’ll fall a little bit in love with it too.
With love & gratitude,
- Manu
