Who Is This Tour For?
If you've already seen Rome's famous landmarks or simply want to experience the city like a local, Testaccio is where Rome's food soul truly comes alive.
This historic neighborhood is home to traditional markets, local characters, and recipes that have shaped Roman cuisine for generations. One stop you definitely won't forget is a legendary panino from the old Mattatoio district, but that's only one taste among many. Throughout the tour, we'll discover authentic Roman specialties, hidden gems, and the places locals keep coming back to.
Come hungry. Testaccio never disappoints.

TOUR 3
Who Is This Tour For?
Step away from the tourist crowds and spend a morning discovering everyday Roman life in Prati, one of the city's most elegant residential neighborhoods.
We'll start the day the Italian way before exploring Mercato Trionfale, one of Rome's largest and most beloved food markets. Between conversations with local vendors, beautifully aged cheeses, cured meats, seasonal produce, and countless delicious discoveries, you'll experience the city exactly as locals do. And while salumi and formaggi are certainly a highlight, they're only the beginning of what we'll taste together.
This isn't just a market tour. It's a glimpse into the rhythm, flavors, and traditions of everyday Rome.

One of the perks of my job? Getting to work with an incredible bunch of professionals in the food and travel world. If you have requests or ideas that aren’t listed here, don’t be shy: I’d love to connect you with the right people.
Networking is one of my favorite ingredients!
Ciao, I’m Manuela.
I’m born and raised in Rome and proudly obsessed with everything edible. I studied “History and Conservation of Cultural Heritage” because I thought I would spend my life in museums… then I realized my real museum is the city itself and my favorite masterpieces are on plates.
For the last 10+ years, I’ve been showing people around Rome and planning trips across Italy, sharing the real gastronomic heritage of the country. I host cooking classes where we cook like Romans actually cook, no shortcuts, no nonsense.
Somewhere between lockdowns, homemade pasta and one too many glasses of wine, I also became a first-level sommelier (thanks, Covid).
Recently, I launched bespoke itineraries in Sardinia, where my roots and my fondest food memories live.
So, that’s me.
I feed you, I guide you, I plan for you.
You just show up hungry.
